The American Dream

President Reagan had it right: “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”
We live in uncertain times. The size and scope of the federal government is growing larger and larger. Our government at times seems to be using Communist Cuba as a model. It has gotten into the business of buying companies, hiring and firing corporate CEOs, and the redistribution of wealth.
Anyone that objectively looks at the state of Cuba today will come to the conclusion that the policies of Communism have been and always will be failures. The lesson clearly learned from Communist Cuba and Communist Russia and all of the other Communist/Socialist countries, is that government cannot raise up the poor by holding down the wealthy. You cannot help the wage earner by hurting the wage provider. What Americans need is an opportunity to succeed, not dependence inducing handouts.
We must join together and fight the menace of government intrusion in our lives and the culture of forced dependence that has been created. We must not forget that government does not solve problems, it merely subsidizes them.
We must unite and fight for the American Dream. We must fight with our emails, phone calls, faxes, and votes.
We will not tolerate government intrusion on our freedoms. We will not tolerate a climate tax. We will not tolerate the elimination of the secret ballot. We will not tolerate Obamacare.
We must stand for small business. We must stand for our military. We must stand for the Constitution. We must stand for freedom and we must stand for the American Dream.
