Ben Loyola and his family fled Communist Cuba for America when he was just two years old. He gave back to his country through 30 years of service in the United States Navy, retiring at the rank of Captain. As the founder and owner of Loyola Enterprises, Ben has continued to provide vital support to our military, equipping them with state-of-the-art simulation, cyber security, information technology, and knowledge management for training, analysis, and operations. Ben is once again answering the call to service. As Congressman, Ben will protect the American Dream that has been so central to his own story and deliver results for the 2nd District.

Here are some of the highlights from Ben’s Eastern Shore trip on Friday:

Chris’ Bait & Tackle- a great small business in Capeville, VA!

A conversation with Cheriton Mayor Larry LeMond and Northampton Farm Store Owner Bruce Killmon.

Meeting with local leaders at Northampton Farm Store in Cheriton.

Meeting with Northampton County community leaders at Kelly’s Gingernut Pub in Cape Charles

Ben enjoyed getting the grand tour of Cherrystone Aqua-Farms- the largest producer of farm-made clams in the country! He also enjoyed getting to sample some of their delicious oysters!

Ben had a great meeting with local leaders at Onley Town Center and received valuable feedback about important issues on the Eastern Shore.

The meet and greet in New Church was also a tremendous success!

Many thanks to Tom and Cherron Davis for opening up their beautiful home!

Ben also stopped at Little Italy’s in Nassawadox on the way back home and met Franco and Catherine Nogero. Although now happily retired, their restaurant is an Eastern Shore staple as well as the Northampton County GOP’s venue for their monthly committee meetings.

Ben also enjoyed meeting some of the staff at Little Italy’s and getting a peak at the kitchen!
