Ben Loyola Announces Support From National Right to Work Committee

Today Ben Loyola is proud to announce that he has the support of the National Right to Work Committee, the nation’s preeminent organization championing the freedom of workers to choose whether or not to join a union.

“I am honored to have the support of the National Right to Work Committee in my campaign for Congress,” Ben Loyola said. “Right to work is under attack both in Richmond and in Washington. As Virginia Democrats very nearly repealed Virginia’s right to work law this year, our Congresswoman Elaine Luria supports legislation that would repeal every right to work law across the country. We cannot let this happen. In Congress, I will stand up to the union bosses and protect right-to-work. No worker should be coerced into joining a union. Ever.”

Ben Loyola was the only candidate in the Republican primary to fill out the National Right to Work Committee’s candidate survey. In a letter to its supporters last week, the National Right to Work Committee, said “Ben Loyola supports the National Right to Work Act, opposes union monopoly bargaining power and supports the Freedom from Union Violence Act.” The organization encouraged its supporters to thank Ben “for pledging 100% opposition to Big Labor’s radical forced-dues agenda.” At the same time, the Committee lambasted Scott Taylor, who “has so far refused to tell you and me his position on the forced-unionism issue.”

Ben Loyola and his family fled Communist Cuba for America when he was just two years old. He gave back to his country through 30 years of service in the United States Navy, retiring at the rank of Captain. As the founder and owner of Loyola Enterprises, Ben has continued to provide vital support to our military, equipping them with state-of-the-art simulation, cyber security, information technology, and knowledge management for training, analysis, and operations. Ben is once again answering the call to service. As Congressman, Ben will protect the American Dream that has been so central to his own story and deliver results for the 2nd District.
