VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – This morning the Ben Loyola for Congress campaign learned of and responded to Scott Taylor’s decision to enter the race for Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District.

“Scott Taylor is a career politician who can’t make up his mind on what to run for next. The ink isn’t even dry on his U.S. Senate papers!” said campaign spokesman Peter Finocchio. “With Republicans in full control in Washington, Taylor had the opportunity to work with conservatives to cut spending. Instead, he voted for every spending bill to come before him, abandoning the conservatives who put him in office. Then, his reelection campaign was rocked by a devastating ballot petition scandal. The 2nd District has already rejected Scott Taylor. Conservatives will reject him again.”

Ben Loyola and his family fled Communist Cuba for America when he was just two years old. He gave back to his country through 30 years of service in the United States Navy, retiring at the rank of Captain. As the founder and owner of Loyola Enterprises, Ben has continued to provide vital support to our military, equipping them with state-of-the-art simulation, cybersecurity, information technology, and knowledge management for training, analysis, and operations. Ben is once again answering the call to service. As Congressman, Ben will protect the American Dream that has been so central to his own story and deliver results for the 2nd District.
